When Little Brother was a toddler, he watched Grandma doing the laundry with one of these and managed to put his little arm into the wringer while it was running. Did he want to see if his arm would flatten like something he'd seen on the cartoons? We're not sure if this one's operational, but it appears to have all the parts. Use it as a planter or to hold ice and beverages during your summer patio parties.

Before John Deere and Allis-Chalmers revolutionized the process of planting corn, this was the way it was done. Now I grew up on a farm but I have to confess, I've never used one. Thank goodness! Can you imagine how long it would take to plant just a few rows of sweet corn?

Antique tools have always fascinated me because these vintage, hard-working implements have such beautiful designs incorporated into their utilitarian composition. We have 2 planes - a number 33 and a number 129.

It's always a bonus to find an antique secretary like this one with the rounded glass still intact. She needs a bit of glue and clamping. All the hardware is original and the decorative trim appears to be in good shape with the exception of the rope piece at the bottom.

Folding camp chair, probably from the 40s. I imagine General McArthur sitting in a chair like this, working out his strategy with his little toy soldiers (a friend bought them for her husband one year and I was allowed to help unpack them).

I love this old GE clock, even though it doesn't work. See the little red/white circle above the center of the hands? It changes to tell you whether it's AM or PM! Could be, with some rewiring, it might work, but I'd hang it, sans the cord, just for the look.
